Founded in 1978 by Bruno Steinschaden, father of the current director, Prof. Georg Steinschaden, Austrian Master Classes is the oldest and most successful music camp in Austria, with over 30 years of history. Music students and professional musicians can spend a week rehearsing with renown European music professors from universities, conservatories and the international concert life. It's the perfect opportunity for students who would like to prepare for their studies in Europe.

14.7. 2017 Arrival at Munich Airport. Pick-up by your driver. Transfer to Zell an der Pram, Location of the Music Camp (2hour20min ride). You will arrive in the morning, check into your room. The official program of the Music Camp starts at 6pm with a come-together in the Festive Hall, followed by dinner.
Music Camp: 14.7. - 20.7.2019
The music camp takes place in a classicistic castle in the village of Zell an der Pram in Upper Austria.
Master Classes Program
Daily 80 minutes individual lessons, free use of piano instruments and of the practicing premises, a workshop-concert, a public final concert admission free for participants and visitors, all classes open for listeners. All participants will receive a diploma of participation. Free use of the open WLAN.
Main focus lies in specific individual support in technique, in interpreting your selected program and we will work on an improvement of your musical power of expression and the promotion of your musical personality also to prepare you for concerts, contests, auditions and examinations or just to prepare a program for your pleasure.
You can freely choose the program for the course.
There will be enough rooms and time for personal rehearsal.
11am: Closing concert for musicians and the general public. After the final concert transfer to Munich Airport. Direct Lufthansa Flight to Hong Kong.

Travel Dates: 13.7. - 21.7.2017
The camp starts at 6 pm with a get-together in the Festival Hall, followed by dinner.
The camp ends after the public concert, which starts at 11 am in the Knights Hall of the castle.
Individuals and ensembles aged 16 and older, advanced students from music schools, universities, conservatories or from private teachers, professional musicians, music teachers and amateurs from all nations.
The classicistic Castle Zell an der Pram, in its present form, was built between 1771 and 1777 by the Munich court-architect Franz de Cuvilli's the younger.
The castle with its generous seminar-rooms, its stimulating atmosphere and its unique and romantic setting in the Upper Austrian "Innviertel", offers an excellent background for intensive work with internationally renowned professors and guarantee a further artistic and professional development.
There are sports grounds and a gym for ball games, table tennis and more. Students will certainly have time for swimming or a trip to explore the surroundings of Zell an der Pram.
The classes end with a public concert in the Knights Hall of the castle. The participants will be selected by the professors.
